I usually share a budget-friendly recipe on Tuesdays. Today I am going to discuss Cookie Exchanges and share links for recipes. A Cookie Exchange or Swap is tasty fun. You and your guests bake cookies by the dozens then gather together and exchange the cookies. Each guest should bake one dozen cookies per the total number of guests; each guest using a different recipe than the others. Each guest leaves the party with dozens of different cookies. Guests can use them for other holiday gatherings or even freeze some cookies for later use. Domino Sugar has great info on their site with even more ideas for hosting a Cookie Swap. There are recipes, invitations, labels, name tags and other things to print. Check it out HERE. Domino Sugar would love for your Cookie Swap party to help raise funds for the effort Share Our Strength's Great American Bake Sale. Monies raised will go to help end childhood hunger in America. You can receive a special gift too for your donations. Click HERE to learn more.
Here are some other great places to find cookie recipes and more. Check out Pillsbury's Cookie Finder for categorized recipes. Click HERE for Pillsbury coupons. Check out Nestle's Very Best Baking Holiday Guide for more recipes and coupons. Kraft Foods also has info about Hosting a Cookie Exchange. I am participating in a Cookie Exchange the Monday before Christmas. I am looking forward to seeing and tasting all of the different cookies. One last tip: don't forget to have enough storage containers for everyone to take home their cookies.
